Claude

Client integration

Claude

Monitor and control conversations in Claude Desktop.

Recorded verification

A tested-version record has not yet been bundled for Claude Desktop. Version differences do not disable the integration.

Requirements

  • Claude Desktop installed and signed in.
  • Accessibility for navigation, composer controls, approvals, and input.

Setup

  1. Open Claude in CTRL Micro Host.
  2. Grant Accessibility when the client page reports that it is required.
  3. Keep Claude signed in so the Host can read its local conversation state and operate visible controls.

How it works

The Host reads Claude's local conversation registry and transcript state. Lifecycle hooks and Claude's local event log provide working, attention, completion, and failure state for each task.

Sidebar task keys use Claude's numbered shortcuts. Recent task keys open the exact conversation through Claude's own link and verify the selected conversation. New Chat, dictation, Submit, approvals, Voice, and settings operate Claude Desktop's visible interface.

Controls and settings

Six task keys open conversations and show their state. A second tap can preview the latest response when that setting is enabled. The board also exposes New Chat, Voice, Approve, Decline, Submit, dictation, navigation, and client switching.

Model, reasoning effort, and permission settings can be assigned to the dial. Fast Mode and Plan Mode are available as assignable controls when Claude exposes their visible controls.

Known limitations and troubleshooting

Sidebar order covers Claude's first six task positions. Recent order uses exact conversation identities. A different installed Claude Desktop version is informational and does not disable the integration.

Actions fail when the expected visible composer or control cannot be found. Submit posts one Return to a verified, non-empty composer. Approval actions post one process-targeted shortcut and are never retried.
